Terms of Service — Invisible Work Risk Index (IWRI)

Last updated: 20 April 2026
Effective date: 20 April 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Invisible Work Risk Index Atlassian Forge app ("IWRI", "the app"), provided by Ayman Idris (ABN 59 540 661 752) ("we", "our", "the developer").

By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

1. The app

IWRI is a Forge app for Atlassian Jira Cloud that computes a workflow risk screening metric ("the Score") and associated category flags from sprint and issue data already present in your Jira instance. The app is intended to support team leaders and engineering managers in identifying workflow patterns that may warrant further investigation.

The Score is a screening indicator, not a diagnostic or performance management tool. It should be interpreted alongside qualitative team context. See Section 7 (Disclaimers) below.

2. Licence

Subject to these Terms, the developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app within your Atlassian Cloud instance for its intended purpose.

You may not:

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Pricing and payment

If the app is listed as free, no payment is required. If the app is later listed as a paid product on the Atlassian Marketplace, pricing, billing, and refund terms are governed by Atlassian's Marketplace terms and the then-current listing page. Atlassian handles all billing on behalf of the developer.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The developer does not warrant that:

You acknowledge that workflow metrics are inherently approximate and that the app's outputs should be interpreted with qualitative judgement and awareness of team context.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

The developer's aggregate liability under these Terms, for any and all claims, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD $100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

10. Termination

11. Changes to these Terms

The developer may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Atlassian Marketplace listing and reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

13. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the app, and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.
